I was raised in Fairfield County, CT, currently reside in the South and in between the two, been fortunate to have lived in various parts of Southeast Asia. I am a Sweet Briar College graduate with a degree in Art History. Since moving to Atlanta in 1997, my job experiences are stitched together like a patchwork quilt.... Having worked for interior designer Meg Adams formerly of Pineapple House; cooking at the teeny tiny cafe, Souper Jenny; putting together flower arrangements at the loveliest of Buckhead shops, Pollen; working at an Atlanta based specialty food company for Smith Hanes at Bella Cucina Artful Food; and finally striking out on my own with my business, Girl Friday, part personal assistant, personal chef, personal shopper and personal organizer for my wonderful clients.
Duchess Fare translates a style inspired by my Far East + East Coast upbringing. I am pleased to be included as an 'Atlanta Insider' for Chairish and an original 'Vintage & Market Finds' vendor for One Kings Lane. All of my hand selected pieces have struck my eye due to their style & design. More importantly, I know any one of them can help round out the overall appeal of any room.
Additionally, I am a freelance writer..... My home tour articles (a selection listed) & designer book reviews have been published in a variety of shelter magazines. Contact me at duchessfare@gmail.com
