If you follow me on Twitter, you may have noticed my travels to the Northeast over the past week.... We spent a couple of days out on the North Fork of Long Island, an area that my family has been going to since the mid-80s. And as such, over the years we've seen the establishment of various vineyards within the original farmland.
Croteaux Vineyards, located in the town of Southold, sets itself a part from the rest.... Not only is the setting absolutely lovely (you'll think you've been transported to the French countryside), but they exclusively bottle Rose wine -- the only vineyard in the United States that can stake that claim.
If you find yourself in the area, a visit to their outdoor garden "tasting room" is a must.... But keep in mind, due to bottling a limited quantity, their Rose does sell out quickly! My images above & below....
