Got a chance for a fast weekend up to CT to visit with family..... Which ended being a 48 hour packed trip! This week will feature some of the highlights, including our first stop upon deplaning at the White Plains airport and driving a stone's throw to Greenwich, CT.
After reading about Restoration Hardware's recently opened 2-story showroom in Greenwich's original (and no longer used) Post Office in the June/July issue of Town & Country magazine (article above), I knew that on our next trip home we needed to make time to check it out. And boy, was it worth it! The interior of this historic building has been completely transformed.... the main room's grand scale and soaring ceiling is perfectly contrasted by the calm, soothing & refined vignettes that feature Restoration Hardware's bath, bedding, and home furnishings collections. The upstairs level & outside patio/garden area is accessed by a double designed staircase (or elevator if preferred), and continues the theme of showcasing the comfortable yet sophisticated styles from RH.
