Got caught up on Sunday night's episode of Girls last night.... And it involved a weekend getaway to a charming beachfront home out on the North Fork of Long Island. The girls - Hannah, Marnie, Shoshanna, & Jessa - convene in the village of Greenport, and then head to the house (with additional 4 guy friends in tow following a happenstance meeting in town), which is located in East Marion.
The beach house used for filming the episode is owned by Girls director Jesse Peretz. Its a 6 bedroom / 4 bath home on 3 acres and situated on the LI Sound (which overlooks Connecticut). Originally built in 1895 as a coast guard life saving station, the home has been thoughtfully restored with modern conveniences while retaining period details. It's available to rent....
