I've mentioned in a previous post how much I enjoy watching the cooking shows on PBS.... Most recently, I've gotten into Martha Stewart's Cooking School, a 30 minute program that focuses on perfecting one type of cooking technique per show -- examples include pan searing, frying, braising, cooking eggs different ways, crafting stocks, etc.... The second season airs on PBS this month and will now be followed with episodes of Martha Bakes, which covers the top-to-bottom of baking, and was originally produced and shown on the Hallmark Channel. Martha Stewart's Cooking School is filmed at her Chelsea, NY studio and Martha Bakes is shot on-site at her country home in Katonah, NY.
