At Home -- Miranda Brooks and Bastien Halard
Landscape designer Miranda Brooks (who I've written previously about here), together with her endearing family and storybook home & garden is featured in the January '13 issue of Vogue. Miranda and her husband, architect Bastien Halard, have transformed an original Brooklyn brownstone & detached carriage house into a homestead straight out of the English countryside. In keeping with a worldly sensibility, the couple decided that the spirit & decor of each floor of the house would represent a different corner of the globe -- the first floor would be French inspired, the second English, and the top floor is influenced by New York style.
