Once again, Piedmont Park plays host to the annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival, opening today at 12 noon through the weekend. The festival aims to showcase an abundant assortment of artisan & musical talent, alongside fabulous food & fare.
Our dear friend and participating artist Chris Beck with be featuring his metal sculptures in the Artist Market. Chris reworks scrap metal pieces into custom forms.... His "Clothing" series are my favorites, manipulating hard metal edges into what appear to be soft folds of fabric. Check out some of his pieces below and watch the attached video to learn more.
