Albert Hadley

Albert Hadley, an icon in the interior design field, passed away last Thursday at the age of 91. I had never met Mr. Hadley personally, but had the great fortune of hearing about his design eye & gracious ways through stories told to me by my Dad's cousin, who has been his neighbor and dear friend for more than 2 decades.
I've held onto the images from House Beautiful's October 1992 issue that featured Mr. Hadley's first home in the idyllic coastal town of Southport, CT. He eventually moved around the corner to an even smaller jewel box, located a stone's throw from the local train station, allowing him easy access to NYC.
