Already available to see on NYTimes.com and soon to be published in tomorrow's Style Section, Bill Cunningham's street photos pull together a collection of Sunflowers and their spirit of radiant golden color influenced through chic clothing & accessories.
The burst of intense color makes me think of Atlanta based interior designer Kay Douglass and the way she selects bright shades - lighting, accessories, & paint color - to layer within her spaces. Choosing citrus tones isn't as easy as it seems (Yellows can take on a life of their own depending how the light hits it in a room).... Douglass masterfully makes this design addition look fresh and modern.
