Jeff Lewis of Bravo TV's Flipping Out
Summer TV just got jolt of new energy.... Jeff Lewis and his design show Flipping Out are back for their 5th season, kicking off tonight on Bravo TV at 9:00pm. Yes, the show is full of employee, client, & contractor high jinks stirred with a healthy dose of obsessive compulsive behavior, but there is some really great interior/exterior renovation happening alongside the learning lessons for the dos and don'ts of residential redesign.
Armed with both a business & design skill set, Jeff Lewis began flipping properties in the California area long before the frenzy of this concept took off with the average home buyer. Mr. Lewis tapped into a successful real estate niche by focusing in on dilapidated or dated higher end homes, in need of complete design overhaul. The popularity of Flipping Out has highlighted his interior design sensibilities and led to the development of his own home furnishings line -- complete with fabrics, lighting, and wallpaper. In 2010, Mr. Lewis was asked to create House Beautiful Magazine's Kitchen of the Year, erected in the heart of NYC at Rockefeller Center.
