July 4th is right around the corner and with it brings fireworks, BBQs, and the annual Peachtree Road Race. The Peachtree, as it is known, is a 6.2 mile stretch starting in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood and ending at Peidmont Park in the heart of Midtown. Participants and spectators seem to grow in numbers every year.... making it a super festive morning for all! The prize of the day is the coveted T-shirt, that runners receive once they have passed the finish line. There are 5 final T-shirt designs chosen from submitted entries and the public is asked to vote for their favorite. The winning design is revealed the day of the race.
