Ruthie Sommers
Online retailer, One King's Lane, featured decorator Ruthie Sommers this morning as part of their Tastemaker Tag Sale series. One King's Lane is devoted to hosting limited time shopping sales for home, pantry, & lifestyle needs, offering items at rock bottom prices, from some of today's top purveyors, dealers, & designers. Ruthie's items were snapped up within minutes of the website launching her sale. As I scouted out each piece, I couldn't help but recognize some of the furnishings from her L.A. home, recently published in the March 2011 issue of House Beautiful magazine. Upon reading further details on One King's Lane, the picture became clearer.... with the addition of her 2nd child, Ruthie was in need of reworking her interiors & pairing down some of her more formal pieces in favor of a more family friendly style.
