While heading for dinner on the Westside at JCT Kitchen last night, we noticed some fun design news. In a space that originally housed a landscape design store, a large banner hung in the doorway announcing the upcoming opening of a Jonathan Adler store. We're big fans of Adler's pottery and home decor, having first met him years ago when Belvedere (in their original Westside location) hosted their holiday party featuring his latest designs. Adler was so gracious to all attending, we asked him to sign the piece we purchased. Years later, while on a visit to NYC, we stopped at his SOHO store and purchased our Hippo from his collection.
