Co-founder of the famed and respected interior design firm Parish-Hadley Associates (1962-1999), Sister Parish's (1910-1994) influential style legacy continues to impact today's design world. In 2001, her granddaughter, Susan Barlett Crater, and protege, Libby Cameron, established
Sister Parish Design - a collection of wallpaper and fabric, with design patterns and details lifted from the traditions of Sister Parish inspired rooms. In November 2009, Crater & Cameron published
Sister Parish Design: On Decorating, a watercolor illustrated design book which includes a casual dialogue among the authors and noted present day decorators on the fundamentals of achieving a Sister Parish decor. Most recently, I spotted Sister Parish's life and work highlighted in the May issue of Vogue & the June issue of Town & Country magazines.
